We had a great weekend. Friday started with the first football game at Lassiter. Kade and Rennen loved going to the game and spending time with all of the coaches. They won and had an amazing firework show after the game. The boys loved it. The louder and bigger- the better!!!
Sunday we went to Grammers and Papa's house (my parents) for a Kelly, Edwards, Morreale, Burt, and Navis gathering. It was a great hot day at the pool with yummy food. The kids loved the swimming and the PIRATE SHIP Papa built for the kids. It is huge, has a sail, has a steering wheel, a treasure chest, a plank, and real life pirate accessories. Really, really cool- and to think the idea of the pirate ship started when Kade hurt his nose walking the plank of the tractor on Memorial Day weekend.
Monday we went to Aunt Bam's house in Atlanta for a swim party. She has a beautiful house and pool. The pool bumper boats were the coolest and so fun. They had real motors and squirt guns attached. All of the boys loved it. Note all of the boys in the family!!! Look how cute baby Philip is- he is the newest baby in the family.
We had a great weekend seeing everyone and eating!!! So sad summer has come to an end. Summer is the best in my book.

Speaking of books, Jenny and I are getting our Specialist degree together and we are trying to cut our load of reading 8 full books this month to reading 7 and watching 1 movie. Here we are watching the horrible movie in bed with Kade and Rennen. That is the only VCR we have and the only one we could get to work. We just hope the movie is the same as the book. We will soon find out. We are great students!!!
