May 2010

May! May is an awesome month. It is turning into one of my favorite months. The end of school year excitement, the excitement of summer, and the first time doing our favorite summer activities. Of course Mother's Day has become another reason to love May!

Planting our tomato plants! Little did we know what would come of these!
Kade's nasty bruise from school. I didn't notice it at first and everyone on my teaching team was talking to him about it. I then looked and was amazed. He said his friend swung him around and he flew into a pole. When asked if he cried, he said, "no, I looked for you but your class wasn't out there." Seriously...our class always is out there when his class is out and I would have been there! I can not believe that he didn't cry or tell his teacher. This bruise lasted a whole month. He is so tough and it breaks my heart. Why was I not out there?

Grandma Collins is having tummy trouble. This was the start of a long road for her. Poor thing!

This boy LOVES fruit and being a clown!

Another yummy and wonderful mother's day! I am so blessed with my boys.

Rennen's last day party. We love Ms Judy.

Ms Judy!

Snuggles with Grammers and Abbey on the boat!

Papa always needs help driving!

This is hilarious...Our school has very nice grounds with nature trails and gardens. We have a night called Evening in the Garden and the kids can be part of the play. Being a staff member with a child in our school, I felt Kade should be part of the play, so I volunteered him. He was not so happy when he realized this was a choice! They were cute and it was a wonderful night, but I don't think he will be part of this years performance!

Kade, Luke, and Seb! Pre-School friends who have been on the same baseball team for 3 seasons. They work really well together. Those three were selected for the All-Star team during the summer too!

Kade's kindergarten class. He is the third from the left on the bottom row. Lots of friends and great memories with these kids. Perfect year! Perfect teacher. Thank you Mrs. Appelgate and Mrs. Black!
