Kade's Adoption Day!

What an amazing day! Four years ago we were out west, in court, finalizing the adoption of Kade. It was one of the most amazing days of my life. I get tears just thinking about that day. I may just have to get the video out and watch it now!

We do celebrate Kade's Adoption Day, although we are starting to tone it down a little. We want Rennen to know he is just as special, so we want to make it more of a family day. It was an important day and definitely deserves celebrating!

We started off at church. It was very emotional for me and I had to hold back tears through most of the mass. I just kept thanking God for what he has given us. God is wonderful and in charge. I love the plan he had for us and our babies and I am very sorry for all of my mean thoughts and not very patient behavior. I would not change a thing (except to maybe win the lottery so that we can get a baby GIRL somehow!!!)

After grocery shopping, Rennen took a nap and Kade and I had special time together making cupcakes. I let him lick the bowl (before I put eggs in) until his tummy hurt and then he helped me ice them too. They turned out great and we had a perfect afternoon.

Of course we went to the pool. We had to have our daily swim time.

Now we are off to bed with full tummies of Kade's favorite meal...Spaghetti and meatballs. What a perfect day!!!
