You guys have been so amazing checking on our adventures in our kitchen! Thank you so much for all of the calls, support, dishwasher use, and advice. Not sure what I would do without all of you!
So, we have a solid unfinished hardwood floor. It is so nice because we are now able to walk into our kitchen without shoes and without stubbing our toes! It will be sanded, stained, and sealed in October when everything is repaired.
We have solid walls and ceilings too! The drywall crew came and fixed all the spots that were damaged, AND they came and painted this week. Our garage ceiling has a fresh coat of paint, our family two story wall has a fresh coat of paint, AND our kitchen has a completely new color!!! We started the think of brownish colors and after looking decided on a moss green. Two different neighbors helped us with the color and they were so helpful. Very knowledgeable! Oh, and we like it too! We wont be putting everything back in the kitchen until the floors are finished so we can not wait to see it with our decorations around!
Still waiting on the cabinets, granite, dishwasher, electrician, and sink! Still a long road ahead!
