Back in 2000 I won Delta tickets to NYC. I thought I was finished winning things for life because I was so lucky! About two months ago my mom sent to a link to enter to win tickets to NYC. I told her there was no way we would ever win again, but it was worth a try! We were SHOCKED in December when she received an email telling us that she WON the trip! How exciting!
So we planned the trip. It worked out perfectly and was the most amazing weekend!

Some trip highlights-
- the boys loved flying and really enjoyed looking out the windows the whole time.
- Scott walked to the ABC Morning Show and was on TV

- the Staten Island Ferry
- the Statue of Liberty

- lunch in China Town
- shopping on Canal Street
- Times Square
- Toys R Us- Ferris wheel in the taxi Lego car
- the Roxy for dinner
- croissants
- St. Patrick's Cathedral
- FAO Schwartz
- Dylan's candy store
- pretzels off the street
- Central Park carriage ride, walked through the park, climbing on the rocks, and the Merry Go Round in the park.
- Plaza hotel bathrooms
- Little Italy for dinner at Benito's
- Mary Poppins!! (12th row seats and she flew right above us!)
- Hurley's Irish Pub
- Horrible rain and storms in Atlanta making bad flying and cancelled flights
- Stuck in Chicago!!
- The boys swam in their boxers at the hotel in Chicago
- Rennen running a few steps with his backpack on and then waving his hand and saying "come on" to make sure we were following him
- Kade helped by pulling a suite case and both Kade and Rennen carried their own backpacks.
- Kade and Rennen being the best boys and only complaining once on the whole trip. They did everything we did and just kept going! They were the best!
We have to say the biggest THANK YOU to my parents for the best trip ever! We had a great time and will never forget the boys in NYC for the first time!
