Hey everyone! We are back! Thanks to those of you who have contacted us to make sure we are ok, and those of you who have requested updates. I have been really busy with Kade's baseball, Daddy's baseball, getting my specialist (this was a really tough semester), working (5th grade is plain crazy!), and enjoying "mommy time" with my boys! Things have been amazing and our lives continue to be blessed every single day.
Let's see, since February...the boys have just been so cute and we have had a great winter. Living in GA, the weather can go from 30 degrees one day to 76 degrees the next day! As you can see, Daddy and the boys did go swimming at the end of March. The water was not too warm, but we went to Jeremy's birthday party and there was a pool. Knowing Daddy and Jeremy, I knew they were going in the pool whether they wanted to or not. So I brought swim stuff for the boys. If Daddy goes in, how can I keep the boys out? They loved it and remembered how to swim as soon as they hit the water. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun!
Kade played baseball again. We had an intense season last fall, so we wanted to make sure Kade had a "fun" season so that he could see why we sign up for this stuff. Thanks to our friend Kim, she hooked us up with Coach Fox. Coach Fox was great! He joked with the kids, taught them great skills, showed them why we needed to learn what we were doing, and had every group busy, so the kids were constantly active and having FUN! We are quite proud of Kade for all he has learned. He has come a long way and is pretty good for a small 5 year old! He really started hitting at the end of the season and he definitely knows what to do when he plays each position. Again, this season was a blessing!
The boys loved Easter this year. Kade was sure it was going to be just like Christmas with lots of toys! We had lots of egg hunts, school parties, and then a wonderful family feast at Grammer's house. The boys were happy with their candy, small toys, and then big pirate ship!
